WordPress speed optimization
A slow website loses visitors before they see what you offer. Our WordPress speed optimization service finds what actually slows your site down and fixes it. We measure with Google PageSpeed Insights before and after every change.
On desktop the same site went from 61 to 100.
What WordPress speed optimization includes
WordPress speed optimization is the work of making a WordPress site load and respond faster. We measure first and then fix what matters: images, CSS and JavaScript, fonts, caching and layout stability. Because every site is different, we start with an audit instead of a fixed checklist. As a result, we spend the time on changes that make a measurable difference.
Audit
PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse on your key pages (home, category, product or article), on mobile and desktop.
Largest Contentful Paint
We resize and preload the main image above the fold, so it appears first.
CSS and JavaScript
We remove or defer render-blocking files and deliver critical CSS first.
Fonts
Local hosting, smaller subsets and text that shows immediately.
Caching
Page cache, browser cache and, where the hosting supports it, object caching with Redis or Memcached.
Layout stability
We reserve space for images, sliders and banners, so the page does not jump while loading.
Images
WebP format, correct dimensions and lazy loading below the fold.
Report
Before and after measurements and a list of every change we made.
Three steps, measured at every stage
Audit
First, we measure your key pages on mobile and desktop and list what slows them down.
Fixes
Then we fix the problems one by one and measure again after every major change.
Report
Finally, you get the before and after results and a list of every change.
What we do not do
We do not chase the score with tricks that break the site. Instead, we measure every major change on its own. We also reject optimizations that delay the main content or make the layout unstable, even if they look good in a single test.
Our own cache plugin
DJIA Cache is a WordPress cache plugin developed by Techoli. It covers page caching, browser cache headers, critical CSS, deferred JavaScript and cache preloading. We use it on client websites and on this one as well.
Is this the right service for you?
- Slow online storesCategory and product pages take seconds to load, so buyers leave before the checkout.
- Poor Core Web VitalsSearch Console reports slow loading, slow reactions or layout shifts on your pages.
- Sites after a redesignThe new design looks good, but the pages became heavier and slower.
Frequently asked questions
Can you guarantee a score of 100?
No, and no honest agency can. The score depends on the hosting, the theme and on third-party scripts such as ads, chat widgets and tracking. However, after the audit we tell you what is realistic for your site. For example, Imuno Cubano went from 49 to 98 on mobile.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Core Web Vitals are three measurements Google uses to describe page experience. LCP shows how fast the main content appears. INP shows how quickly the page reacts to input, while CLS shows how much the layout shifts. PageSpeed Insights reports all three, so we use them to judge every change.
Will my website look different afterwards?
No. The goal is the same design, delivered faster. Therefore, we do not remove content or features without asking you first. If a slider, a video or a script costs too much speed, we show you the numbers and you decide.
Do I need new hosting?
Sometimes. If the server response time is the bottleneck, we will say so and show the measurements. In that case, better hosting or object caching often helps more than any change to the theme. Otherwise, we keep your current hosting and optimize the site itself.
Will the site stay fast after the optimization?
It stays fast as long as new plugins, scripts and large images do not undo the work. For that reason, the report lists what to watch. If you want us to keep an eye on it, speed checks are part of our website maintenance services.
How long does it take, and how much does it cost?
Both depend on the size of the site and the number of page templates. Send us the address of your website, and we will take a first look. After that, we reply with the scope and a quote, so you know the cost before any work starts.
Want to know why your site is slow?
Send us the address of your website and we will tell you what we would measure first.
